Kiara started her first music lessons at Yamaha Music School when she was 4 years old. Her first instrument was electone, then switched to classical piano at age 6. Kiara knew music before formal education and made her much more like music than formal school lessons. According to Kiara, music is life. A place where she can be herself and a place to express all of her feelings. Kiara had followed the lessons from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). However, only up to Grade 3. She graduated from Yamaha (Grade 6) in 2012, and continued his classical piano lessons back in 2017. In the same year, Kiara won 1st place in the Greater Jakarta Piano Competition in Jabodetabek.
During junior high school, Kiara was active in the school band as a vocalist and became a permanent member of the school’s vocal group. Kiara has won 1st place FLS2N Vocal Group in South Tangerang and 3rd place in Banten. She always fills events at various school events and pensi of neighboring schools, making her increasingly fond of pop & jazz music. During senior high school, Kiara remained active in the school band, but changed positions as a keyboardist. She also won 1st place in the band competition at the 2015 Mosaic and Gonzaga Festival. She began teaching private piano from door to door every time she came home from school and several times became a choir teacher, ensemble, and band in her former school. From 2017 to 2018, Kiara joined the show choir, Voice of Indonesia by Rio Silaen.
In 2019, Kiara began attending Jazz Piano classes at Sjuman School for Music Education with the guidance of Mery Kasiman and Julian Marantika. Until now, she is active as a teacher of Private Piano and Early Music Programs at Sjuman School for Music Education.
